Power tools
"Do it yourself" is a trend in the private household. Whoever takes the plane in the hand, or uses the drill the important thing is that the appliances function safely and faultlessly. Dangers of injury especially should be excluded when being operated correctly.
TÜV Rheinland has special laboratories in which trained specialists diversely test handheld power tools. These include, for example gasoline and electric powered garden tools like chain saws, trimmers and drills, grinders, circular saws and planers. In addition to the Low Voltage, Machinery, Noise and EMC directive, quality and suitability for use are tested.
Supported by the service from TÜV Rheinland Product Safety GmbH, the tools receive market approval for Germany, the EU, and non-European countries. Services include CE marking,EC Type examination, GS mark, cTUVus and CB procedure, which lift export barriers, and protect consumers in many countries.
