With inspiration drawn from our corporate-management certification services and international codes such as the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines on corporate social responsibility, TUV-STAR* evaluates an organization’s performance in nine dimensions, namely corporate management, social responsibility, OHAS, quality, environment, information security, financial disclosure, brand/innovation, and fair trade and competition.The results are summarized in the form of a five-star rating system that enables one to easily distinguish “good” companies from “excellent” ones.Just like restaurants and hotels, a "five-star-organization" stands out by exhibiting a special grade of excellence. Meanwhile, the TUV-STAR* website provides a multilingual platform for evaluated companies to make known their ratings to buyers and consumers worldwide.
