APC successfully obtains cTUVus certification

The firm has applied for the cTUVus safety mark and successfully obtained the first cTUVus certificate for UPS products. TÜV Rheinland of North America is accredited to certify and test products to American and Canadian standards. The scope of accreditation includes office equipment, information technology, business machines, audio/video equipment, household electronics, laboratory equipment, medical equipment, testing and measuring devices, control equipment, and more. Generally speaking, the application process for gaining US certification entails four factory inspections annually. However, under cTUVus application procedures only two inspections are needed when a complete quality-management system has been executed. These two inspections can be conducted by nearby TÜV Rheinland branches. The lead time for cTUVus certification is only 2-3 weeks, allowing you precision control of your to-market blueprints.
