New service on offer – Elevator, Conveyor and Machinery Technology Inspection

TÜV Rheinland Taiwan is pleased to announce the establishment of a new service – Elevator, Conveyor and Machinery Technology (ECMT) -- in January this year. The services being offered are mainly focused on the inspection of elevator, conveyor and machinery technology projects.
This service extends our comprehensive range of expertise to fulfill the following requirements for the market:

• EC Type Approval according to Lift Directive 95/16/EC for elevators and elevator-safety parts
• EC Type Approval according to Machinery Directive 98/37/EC for vehicles servicing lift devices involving the lifting of persons with a risk of falling from a vertical height of more than 3 meters
• CE approvals according to Machinery Directive 98/37/EC and international safety standards for escalator/ conveyor/ crane/ construction machine/ amusement theme-park equipment/ airport ground-support equipment/wind-generator systems/and other industrial machinery
• Related machinery-product inspection
